Hi Thanusha,
Karnataka made one-year rural service mandatory for all freshly-graduated MBBS students in 2015, irrespective of the type of seat they took admission in. Similarly, for PG section that is for the MD course a bond of 3 years is to be signed.
In case of violation of the bond the student is supposed to pay a bond penalty of 50,00,000/- INR.
