Engineering is no more school life. we can't expect spoon feeding from professors. In any college self study plays a key role.placement depends on how you maintain a good consistent pointer in all sems, your communication skills, projects, trainings, extra-curriculars, etc.

SRM is very good at its branding and publicity but keep one thing in mind when you enter a college to pursue engineering then do that only thing. SRM is best at its branding all that instead of studies.Even VIT is better than SRM. So choosing Mechanical in SRM will not do a great job.But since final decision rests up to u only, so my advice is decide carefully.Because I have never thought of doing engineering from SRM. I have given my entrance exam for that, only test my knowledge and trust me I got 1200 rank in that one…
