What is the Eligibility criteria for VIT Entrance Exam 2022?

Details

Nationality

• Resident/Non-resident Indian Nationals/PIO are eligible to apply.

• Foreign candidates: They can apply directly through foreign category only.

Age

He/She born on or after July 1, 2000 are eligible to apply.

Qualifying exam

• He/She must have passed 10+2 from CBSE, ICSE or any state board

OR

• Students should have passed Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University

OR

• High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva

OR

• General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/ Cambridge/ Srilanka) at the Advanced (A) level.

• Regular NIOS board candidates are also eligible for VITEEE 2022. They will be needed to produce the Migration Cum Transfer Certificate at the time of joining.

Marks needed in qualifying exam

• He/She must have obtained a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying exam.

• However, the minimum percentage marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category, Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern states is 50%.

Year of passing

He/She must have passed the qualifying exam or should be appearing for it in 2022.
