Eligibility criteria for NEET include

Candidates must be of 17 years at the time of admission

12th class marks must be 50 % in PCB.

Candidates must be of Indian Nationality.
hi tullika,To fulfill the NEET eligibility criteria 2018, candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English. The candidates belonging to General Category should score a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12 or HSC examination.
Candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes (OBC) should score a minimum of 40% in their Class 12 or HSC examination.
For persons with locomotor disability of lower limbs, a minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required
Tulika, below listed are the eligibility criteria which must be fulfilled in order to apply for NEET entrance exam in General Category:
- The candidate should have completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or should complete the age on or before December 31 of the year of in which you will get admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course.
- There is no upper age limit for NEET 2018 (As per the directives of SC passed on March 31, 2017).
- Your number of NEET attempts must not have exceeded three. Although it can't be technically possible since, NEET 2017 was the first attempt for anybody who appeared in the same.
- You should have cleared your Class 12 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and Mathematics as main subjects with a minimum score of 50 percent. In case you appeared for the 12th qualifying exam and your result is awaiting, then also you can sit for the exam.
In case a general category candidate, doesn't fulfil any of these requirements, he/ she cannot appear in NEET entrance exam under any circumstances.
