IM Calcutta, the conducting body of CAT 2018, prescribes the eligibility criteria. As per the basic eligibility criteria of CAT 2018, the management aspirants must have a Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate. The final year graduation students are also eligible to apply for the exam. There is a relaxation of 5 percent in graduation marks for SC, ST and PwD candidates. MBA aspirants who are planning to appear for the exam must know the CAT eligibility criteria 2018 before applying for it.

Eligibility of CAT EXAM is just
50% marks in Graduation
According to CAT 2018 eligibility, a candidate is eligible to appear in CAT 2018, if he/she holds Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. The candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) categories need only 45% marks.
Final year students eligible to apply
CAT exam eligibility criteria further clarify that candidates in final year of Graduation are also eligible to apply for CAT 2018.
