What is the further of a doctor graduated ( MBBS ) from a private medical college ?
Hi, I'm a doctor currently studying for PG in the states. I can tell u better opportunities after MBBS.
1. Prep for PG in india/ abroad in US/UK- U have exams, Look out for a 1-2 year minimum prep time, full time. If you do job, this will take longer.
2. Join as a junior resident doctor and u would make around 60k-80k per month in north and 30k-40k in south
3. Take up govt medical jobs as doctors in nearby rural or suburban area- around 40k-50k per month with chance of it extending as permanent job after one year contract. If u take a permanent job in govt, they will also give u time off to study PG and pay u same salary at same time even if u dont work, provided u join govt job after ur PG
4. Join army, navy etc as short service commission(get paid 60k-80k + benefits, u can be posted in border areas, but doctors have good safety mostly, many of my friends have joined). there is no entrance exam, however you have to have decent weight and height and physical fitness is important, no need 6 abs lol. U have interview which u can pass easily with minimum prep.
5. Go abroad for MPH or MHA and get decent jobs which pay decent wage similar to softwre engineer in US
6. Do Masters in immunology etc and work for WHO in India
7. Write UPSC, IAS,IPS,IRS
8. Do MHA in India and join as administrative side for govt or private hospitals
9. Join as teaching staff in medical colleges, they pay well as there is shortage of doctors
HOPE THIS HELPS!
A doctor is a person who saves everyone. He is treated equal to god or next god who saves many lives. Yes sure there is going to be a great importance even if you do the course from a govt. Or a private college. With the occurrence of many diseases in the world the importance of doctors is also increasingly rapidly.
