Hello Aspirant,

In order to become an Astronomer, You can go for Master in Physics or Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with the basic knowledge in Physics and Mathematics after that you can go for a Ph.D. Programme.

Among the leading Institutes are:

Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore

IISC Bangalore

National Center for Astrophysics, Pune etc.
