What is the placement ratio in btech computer engineering?
Now coming to the placements, of course the ratio CSE of ECE is very good, almost 70-80% students got placed in first second round (from top engineering Colleges) and in private the ratio decreases to 8-10%.

Hope this helps!
Hey Padmini,
It will be wrong if placement is the criteria you are willing to choose an engineering branch. The interest and your skill set should be the basis of your selection of branch. For instance, if you didn't have computer in your plus 2 and opt for Computer engineering, it will be very hard for you to cope up with. Now, coming to the placement thing, it totally depends on your skills you acquire in the 4 years and it's application. The placement depends on your hard work. Considering the boom in IT industry, usually 70-80% of students in a computer science branch are usually placed provided you have done your degree from a reputed college.
Hello Padmini....hope you're doing good...
Well, computer science engineering is one of the best engineering courses offered by top most colleges in India including NITs and IITs. This branch is full of job opportunities in the near future and there are a lot of technical things to explore in this branch. And this branch seems to offer the highest package as recorded in 2018 . Top most interpreneurs and leading companies hire students particularly from this branch every year in their firm.
Hope this helps you out.....
All the best:)
hello Padmini,
It depends upon college to college.
top engineering colleges like IIT's, NIT's and IIIT's almost all student get placed
other colleges of tier 2 or tier 3, almost all CS and IT students get placed. So Students of CS or IT branch getting placed is not a big deal.
only the difference is type of companies coming to their campus.
product based comapnies like Amazon, Google, Facebook and so many will only come to the top colleges.
and in tier 2 or tier 3 colleges most of the students placed in mass recruiting companies.
Hope you Understand.
Hello Padmini, Computer Engineering deals with the hardware aspects of your computer and has a great demand in industry same as that of Computer Science.
Placement ratio mainly depends upon the college from which you have completed your degree but in general Computer Engineering graduates are getting placed at higher packages.
Top private universities like VIT University has introduced this branch in their Chennai Campus in 2016 as "Electronics and Computer Engineering" and students from this course were able to fetch good internship in top MNCs. Many other universities are also opening this branch in their colleges.
Hope this helps.
All the best for your future endeavors!!
Well placement ratio depends on many factors such as College, Skills of students, etc. Placement ratio for cse branch students is relatively higher than the other top branches. If a student has some skill related to today's technology then he can expect decent package in a top company.
Good luck.
B-tech in CSE is a top rated course because of the career options you will have after your graduation.
There are many good opportunities in the course but I can't mention the exact ratio of the placements because they vary from college to college.
