BAMS is an undergraduate of 5.5 years in the field of Ayurveda.There are many specializations which a candidate can opt for.During the course internships are compulsory for the candidates for to understand the practical aspect.
Now regarding the average starting salary,it is something in the range of 4-8 lacs.
The jobs associated with it are Category Manager,Ayurvedic doctor, Medical Representatives,starting up a Private clinic,Ayurveda Teacher,etc

Private sector hospitals and nursing homes have tremendous openings for Ayurveda professionals who offer excellent pay-packages.
