NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)

NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Cut off is the minimum marks required to qualify for the exam but if you want to get into a decent medical college then there will be more competition and so you have to score more than just cut off ( 50 % for General and 40 % for SC / ST / OBC categories ).
So try to get a score of around 570 or around and that will be a competitive score.
hi devaprasanna, it all depends on what category you belong to and what reservation you have, whether you have state quota or not , but i would suggest that aimm for 600, its high , i know but absolutely doable , so aim for it. NEET 2018 Examination is most likely to be held on 10th May (Thursday) 2018 . NEET 2018 Application Form will be released in the month of January 2018.CBSE conducts NEET for admission across all medical colleges in india except aiims, and jipmer. The exam pattern is as follows:-
physics-45 questions each carrying 4 marks
chemistry-45 questions,each carrying 4 marks
and biology 90 questions each carrying 4 marks as well.hope this helps good luck
Cut off marks are the minimum marks that are needed to be at least qualified but to get admission in a decent medical college one has to score at least more that 480 or so depending on the state you belong but a score around 590 is absolutely safe and can get you nearly a very good medical college.
Good luck for exams
Thanks
As per your query about marks cutoff, you must be knowing that there is All India Quota 15 % and State government quota 85%...
Cut off by All India quota is always higher than state quota..Further in both the quota the SEAT is further divided as per category like Open, SC , OBC , ST, etc..It will vary for each group. The Cutoff also vary in Government, Private and Deemed University, Also difffer college to college even in government /private/deeemed. The marks vary each year based on the difficulty level of the paper
BUT GOING BY PREVIOUS YEAR TREND A MBBS SEAT is obtained around 480 - 600 marks range..
Best of luck

With state quota cut off falls. , but you haven't told you domicile.
Set higher target because cut off differ according to difficulty level.
Do previous year , that would help you revise .
Study hard
All the very best
Hope it helps
