Hello Diya

Exam season is always a hectic season for everyone involved. And the good nutrition often slides down the priority list. The right food and drink can energise your system, improve your alertness and sustain you through the exam hours. Follow some simple tips below to help you eat your way to success.!

  • Don't skip meals- especially Breakfast- as it is a great start of your day. You can have fruits- banana, wholemeal bread toasted with a glass of milk. That'll keep you filled for around 1.5 hours atleast. After the gap, you can have a bowl of oatmeal.
  • For lunch, keep it light.! Have 2 chapatis, rice, Dal, salad.
  • You don't want to fall asleep during study sessions and so in order to avoid that situation, you should eat  in less quantity.
  • Eat at regular intervals- coz while you study rigorously for hours, you start feeling low on energy. But if you eat at regular intervals it'll help you keep going and eventually will help you quit the habit of eating improper foods.
  • You can have milkshake/ a glass of milk with light snack- or fruits in the evening hours. A protein shake can do well.
  • For dinner- again keep it light. Do not have heavy meal during the night as it may lead to indigestion sometimes.

Keep yourself hydrated all the time.! Target at least 1.5-2 L of water in a day. Take a glass of fluid (fruit juice, herbals, water) within easy reach while studying.

You should avoid junk food especially during exams.!!

Try to eat healthy homemade food.

Take proper 7 hours night sleep.

Do not stress yourself.. rather enjoy your studies- and study the way- this will help you study for long hours + you can prepare in a Best way possible.!

Hope this helps.!

Good Luck.!!

I don't know why you are asking such questions on this platform

I don't think this has anything to do with your career as such you should just eat what you want to stay healthy eat limited amount of healthy food without eating a lot of junk food which could get you in our food increase your blood sugar cholesterol levels is all I can say as a doctor

as a psychological counsellor all I could tell you stop concentrating on what you are eating and I know it is very fascinating to take a break from intensive studies and having good food seems to be one of the main distractions and relaxation during hard core study but if you just stop thinking about what you are going to eat and eat what you feel like of course keeping in mind that eating junk food can make you fall ill and cut down on your study hours and psychological urge to study as well - you should stay fit and healthy and accomplish a good job
