Hi rajnish

Thanks for asking your query,as you have not secured well in mains and not got percentage up to the minimum level which is required for admission in most of colleges then dropping is worthless because if you perform well next year in mains paper but you will not get admission in NITS OR IITS because minimum requirement for admission in these institutes are 75 percentage in 12th board therefore I suggest you to take admission in state government college or private engineering colleges that would be helpful to you.

Hello Rajnish,

A year ageI was in the same situation.I would recommend you to take a gap only if you are serious about your preparation.Ask yourself are you going to be persistent and try to work hard?

If yes then go for it.A year gap is going to stressfull and be ready to ace the odds.

Work hard if you don't you might end in same situation next year too!And company do ask reason for year gap and what activity you did in gap apart from study.

So choose wisely!

All the best!
