what should I pursue in India..biotechnology or pharmacy?
Biotechnology and Pharmacy both are very good courses. But there is some things which are very industry relevant that B.Pharm students don't get a lot of jobs in there core fields. They usually get moderate or non-field jobs which is quite of no purpose to the course they are studying. Biotechnology students gets more scopes in core field and they are widely recruited in pharmacy companies and other biotech firms. So if you wish to work in a field which have similarities with the coursework then I would say you should go for Biotechnology as you will get more scope to work in the core fields of Biotechnology. If you wish that you want to work in other sectors also then you can go for Pharma as in Pharma courses there are lesser scopes to work in the core fields.
**If you wish to go for Biotechnology then I would recommend you to go for BTech Biotechnology (if you wish to get a job after your graduation). If you are interested in research then you can go for BS Biotechnology followed by a MS which can lead you to jobs as well as research profiles as BS/MS are more research oriented.
