Dear Aspirant,
to pursue the subject or course of Biotechnology after your completion of 12th standard, you will first need to an under graduation degree. The under graduation degree can be technical which would be BE/BTech in Biotechnology, which is a professional course or you may also do BSc. in Biotechnology as per your preference and convenience. The course of BE/BTech is for a duration of four years whereas the BSc. course is for a duration of three years.
To pursue either of these courses you are required to be a part of the science stream in your 12th standard and have subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
