SEBC is a State level Sub Category of OBC. At National Level, you do not have SEBC as a separate Category. You only have General Category, OBC, SC,ST. And . So to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to SEBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This is for qualifing to appear for NEET. The same rule applies for NEET cut offs as well. If your Community is listed in the Central OBC list, then you need to score atleast 40 percentile of the top NEET score. And if it is not listed in the Central OBC list, then you need to score 50 percentile of the top NEET score atleast. This is the general formula followed. Now the formula remains the same while the numbers change. In 2019 the cut offs increased by 15 marks than those of 2018 cut offs. This is because cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. This year as well there might be fluctuation of atleast 15-25 marks in the cut offs which means if you belong to SEBC Category and the Community you belong to is also listed in Central OBC list, then you will need atleast 150 to qualify. And for General Category, it might be above 150. Again this is just a speculation going by previous years trends.
