Admission in Panjab University, Chandigarh for the course of BA/BCOM LLB is done on the basis of both your result in 12th boards and entrance exam. 50% weightage is given to both the scores.
So as your boards percentage as well as your entrance exam's score both matter equally.
There are 120 seats (both BA and BCOM) in the Chandigarh campus, 60 each in regional centres. So for the Chandigarh campus if your rank in the BA LLB merit list after combination of both scores is uner 150-180 you'll have a fair chance in the first counselling itself.
As per last year trends a combined score of 70+ would be safe for admission. But this year scores in entrance have been lower so the cut off can be lower than last year
The cut off chances each year according to the difficulty level of the paper and the level of Competition, only a fair estimate can be made regarding the marks. So wait for the final ranks after combined scores to be out for a better estimate to be made.
