That entirely depends on your own choice and capacity. If you want to deal with people and can listen to their life problems, then you can take psychology. But if you want to have a more introspective kind of job, like content writing, editing, etc, then you can opt for English hons. Also in both the subjects, you can be a teacher and a professor. So try to know about yourself and the career prospects and then take the final decision.

Both these streams are completely different from each other and has a large difference between career options. You should not pursue a degree/course mere on the basis of better career, job opportunities. BA hons in English covers the aspects of English language while B.Sc hons Psychology which involves study of mind, behavior and mental functions.
Both these courses are good enough. You should follow your passion and choose a course. See where your interests align more. Get to read the subjects of both these courses, and choose one which fascinates you more. Now for career opportunities, B.Sc hons in Psychology has more scope as there are many branches such as clinical, social and counselling and you can work in any clinic or can further go in education sector. You should give more preference to your interest as then only you will be able to give your best in your chosen area.
