Many candidates and even some bureaucrats are not aware of the newly introduced provisions. Read this post to know in detail about the criteria to be included in the EWS Quota.Persons who are not covered under the scheme of reservation for SCs, STs and OBCs and whose family has a gross annual income below Rs 8 lakh (Rupees eight lakh only) is to be identified as EWSs for benefit of reservation.
