Admissions in Medical colleges is based on NEET entrance examination score.

This is the common entrance test for the medical courses across the country. Here is the eligibility for writing NEET -

Candidate must secure minimum of 50% aggregate in 10 + 2 higher secondary education from a recognized college/ university. Minimum age must be 17 years of age. The subjects in 10 + 2 higher secondary must be physics, chemistry and biology.

For private college as well, firstly you need to take the NEET exam. Based on the core in NEET, the colleges take admission in private college.
