A doctor with a state registration number can issue medical certificate, it could be sickness certificate or physical fitness certificate.

The highest priority in order of certification is a Government RMO, followed by a govt doctor in a gazettes post, followed by a private but institutional doctor, least considered is a clinician practising in a small set up or day care clinics.

The new rules clearly state that no one can issue a certificate for more than 15 days duration at once.

Hence, pls be careful in obtaining and writing medical certificates.

Hi Candidate,

Medical certificate is needed to be submitted during document verification process, and this is mainly done to check whether the student is facing some problem or allergies, which the college administration needs to know prior to admission.

In order to get a valid medical certificate, the certificate should be verified and issued by a certified medical practitioner or Registered Doctor. It's best to get the medical certificate from Government Hospital as it is well accepted, and it's legitimate as well. If you donot get a Government Hospital, then just go to any General Doctor and get the Hospital stamp as well for certification.

Hope that this answer helps you!!
