whether one can avail reserve quota in domicile state and state where one got education
Hi Sukhendra,
There are different rules for domicile in different states. Some states require the candidate to complete his/her 10th and 12th in the state whereas, some states like Gujarat require the candidate o reside in the state for 10 years consecutively.
- Karnataka requires either the candidate's or student domicile.
- Delhi requires the candidate to either have completed his 12th in Delhi or he should have a domicile.
- West Bengal has 2 cases. case 1 says that candidate should have resided in the state for 10 years. Case 2 says that if candidate has studied outside West Bengal, either of the parents should have a permanent address in the state.
- Maharashtra requires the candidate to have a domicile certificate, as well as he/she must have completed class 10th and 12th in the state.
Therefore, you can find out if you are eligible or not from the above information, since you have not mentioned the state. Also, if you are eligible for stat quota, you can apply for reservation quota as well.
