Hi,

The second year of MBBS will be quite different from the first. For most of us, first year feels like it started yesterday and ended so quickly. As exams approach, fewer people are able to finish standard literature such as Ganong, Harper, or Gray's student' version. However, most people's second year lasts roughly 15–16 months. Although the amount of time has increased, you now have four subjects to cover. In the third semester, you can rest a little, but starting in the fourth semester, you must be serious, or these subjects will become more difficult than those from first year!

Here is list of some important reference books

  • Robbins for Pathology,
  • KD Tripathi,
  • Lippincott
  • Gobind Rai Garg’s Simplified Pharmacology’
  • Sherris Medical Microbiology
  • VV Pillay.
  • FMT book by KSN Reddy
  • Parasitology by CP Baveja

Hope that helps you
