Hi Anant,
EEE involves electronics and electrical study while ECE involves study of electronics and some part of communications. In core companies, demand of EEE is more in comparison to ECE. Whereas ECE students can apply for IT companies as well. EEEstudents don't have much scope in IES whileECE students have.
Below are some differences that clear the confusion between ECE & EEE branches in terms of Scope, placement, availability etc.
ECE(Electronics & Communication Engineering)
EEE(Electrical & Electronics Engineering)

Both the engineering branches are equally good but it all depends upon the field of interest of an individual. Personally, I feel that the stream might be unique but the only thing a student should focus on is the future goal. Once, he is sure with that, he can then choose the stream of his choice.
Hope it helps.
THANK YOU.
Hello Anant
ECE(Electronics and Communication Engineering) and EEE(Electrical and Electronics Engineering) are branches that sound quite similar. A lot of students, with an interest in Electronics, get confused while choosing between these two branches. Factually, among several Electronics derived branches EEE, ECE and EIE are top choices.
As the name clearly suggests, in EEE one has to study electrical engineering as well as electronics while in ECE one deals with electronics and some part of communication engineering.
EEE students don't have much scope in IES while ECE students have.
Hello Anant,
Many students face the dilemma of picking one from ECE and EEE. This baasicaba stems from lack of the pros and cons of the branch. I'll be providing you with a comparative analysis of both the branches and based on it and your interest you can pick what suits you best.
EEE (Electronics & Electrical Engineering) and ECE (Electronics & Communication Engineering) are the two very similar branches in Engineering and the choice is clearly hard to make.ECE deals with electronics and some part of communication engineering. However, EEE deals with electrical engineering as well as electronics.
Some points of comparison are:
The job prospects of ECE are higher in IT sector while EEE is more in trend in the core companies.
