I would expect you to give some options of branches between which I would be comparing.

Talking generally each and every branch have good placements opportunities. I is basically up to candidate that how he or she fits to the profile of a company. I am into placement drives from my college and I see no big difference between placement opportunities for different domains.

Well talking about the score in future then I will say from my point of view software engineering anf electronics engineering has a good scope. As the world is becoming a digital world so in future you there be requirement of good software engineers so that makes the most wanted branch in present and in future.

But this doesn't mean that other branches do not have any scope in future. Branches like mechanical, civil engineering also you have scope as there is increasing infrastructure and automobiles so there is a good growth in these branches too.

Talking about placements each and every branch as almost same placement and packages.

For an average engineer the starting packages from 15000 to 25000 per month. And and for a good grade engineer the same package rises up to 50000 and even up to 100000 per month.

So according to the current scenario in the current job market what you need to do is that work upon your strength work upon the interest. So select a good branch for yourself according to your interest and pursue your engineering that, and don't worry about the placement there are plenty of opportunities present in the market just make yourself fit for those opportunity.
