I want to tell you that it really does not matter whether you choose CST or ECE, all it depends on how you study that course which have chosen. You should choose the branch in which you are interested and don't just go with the trend. Because many students follow the trend and at last they are not able to do what they wanted to. So in my opinion, you should think, take counselling and then decide what you want to do. You can talk with your parents, any elder brother or sister who have done engineering or doing it.

Both the branches are good in their fields. And in future I think ECE will dominate over other branches due to developement of new ways of communications. In regard to placements in bangalore right now CSE is dominating. Therefore, I would suggest to take ECE branch keeping future's scenario in my mind.

In terms of placement and future orientation I would suggest that you go for CSE department for engineering.  Most of the companies in any college or university comes to fetch the students from the computer science branch and they are the one who get the most good package and well

Both cse and ece are the evergreen branches and has good scope in future placements wise.Choosing between these two branches is always depends on your intreset.If someone says you that cse may fall in future its purely a myth there is no such thing.

Both the branch of engineering has its own scope and if you are able then no matter what branch you belong to you definitely be placed, but computer science engineering has more scope and placement scenarios in Banglore as compared to electronic and communication engineering.But ECE is always second choice in bangalore.
