NIRF ranking is provided by the government of india .It judges every medical college on the parameters as following-

1)Teaching,Learning and resources

2)Research and Professional Practice

3)Graduation Outcomes

4)Outreach and Inclusiviity

5)Perception

After considering all these parameters ,the colleges are ranked all over india .In this year 100 colleges participated in the ranking including , Government Medical College,Chandigarh and BHU.

• BHU got ranked 6th all over India in 2019 among 100 entries.
  
• Government MEDICAL College was not even included in top 30s .
