Hi there!

As said, you are preparing for UPSC exam. The eligibility of this competitive exam says that candidate should have a bachelor's degree in any field from a recognised university.

So it doesn't matter, from which college you have a degree unless that University is recognised by UGC.

So, it depends on your interest and quality of education and other facilities provided by the colleges.

Followings are some of the top colleges for BA in India,

Go through the list given below:

Lady Shri Ram College for Women, New Delhi

Loyola College, Chennai

Christ University, Bangalore

St.Xavier’s College, Mumbai

Miranda House, New Delhi

Hansraj College, New Delhi

Shri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi

Hindu College, New Delhi

Ramjas College, New Delhi

Madras Christian College, Chennai

Hope it helps..

Stay safe.

All the best!!
