Hey,
Packages are good if you know about your choice of interest well enough. Though CSE, electrical, chemical have good placements.
And no, btech courses are not tough.

Because they have no interest in what they are studying. If you are not interested you won't give your best to it. This is the only reason. I myself is pursuing engineering, and is not tough. So choose your trade wisely

Good, CSE is more logical than craming. So you'll be occupied, and will enjoy doing coding and developing apps etc etc.

Dear Sarath,
All the engineering branches are good. It all depends on your interest and skills.
It is recommended that you should choose the branch as per your interest so you don't find it tough and you can perform good.
If we compare the branches then CSE is the top most branch in engineering which provides good scope in terms of jobs and placements and maximum package are drawn by CSE students and it is easy as well as compare to others.
You should focus on to get top colleges in engineering so that you can get good teaching and placements.
