Hi aspirant

Thanks for asking your query,it is not predictable which is not easy therefore I would suggest you to follow your own opinion on this matter because if I suggest you on this matter I would like you to take mechanical engineering because it has more scope than c.s.

Thankyou

Hi Preet,

Undoubtedly, mechanical is way more hard than computer science if you're an average student. However, hardness of the branch also depends upon the interest of the students. So if you are interested in mathematics and higher mathematics than mechanical is the branch for you, however, if you have struggled with these concepts in the past then I suggest you should go for computer science.

Many of my friends who were not that good with mathematics are doing really well in the field of computer science.

Moreover, in computer science you starts with the basics in your engineering that is an advantage as students of mechanical are presumed to be familiar with the concepts of higher mathematics which often turns out against them if their basics were not that good.

Hope this clears your doubt.

Note: Also, in CS there is a job security which you will never find in any other branches.

All the best. Thankyou.

Hey Preet,

Basically if a student has interest in anyone of them then it would be easy for him to pursue. If you have a fasciantion with physics and automobiles, mechanical would be easy for you to digest.

Hwoever, if your are fascinated with the IT field and have a logical mind to handle the coding background of C, Java IT would be easier for you.

It depends on each individual.

For some, mechanical is easy while for some IT is.

But if you force yourself to study something, it can become very difficult even to pass.

In the end, if you can mug up mechanical will be easier in some way. It is very difficult to mug up and score high. It is easier if you study and understand the basics and can use it to solve the problems.

Mechanical is like physics while IT is like mathematics.

Hope it helps,

Good luck!

Hello,

Both branches of engineering mentioned by you are different in their own ways. They have their own significance and importance. They cannot be compared. But if you want an easy life as you say, then Computer science and engineering would be a little comfortable one as it is mostly about coding and stuff. But mechanical engineering is mostly related to mechanics and automation. Note that Mechanical engineering mostly requires physical work and intelligence but CSE requires logic building and mental activness..

Hope it helps

Thank you
