Hope you are doing well.

The primary difference between B.E and B.Tech is that, B.E is theory oriented, that is it focuses more on theoretical aspects, whereas B.Tech is more practical oriented, that is it focuses more on the application part of the field.

Talking about the scope, you will notice that there is no such significant difference in the things taught in a B.E and a B.Tech degree. Therefore the scope and the future for both the degrees turn out to be almost equal. If a B.E. graduate is applying for a job, then a B.Tech graduate can apply for the same job and vice versa.
