IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) is itself a college and a university which provides BA course from distance. It is considered as the best choice for a student who is not able to pursue this degree as a regular course. The medium available for instruction is both Hindi and English.

The duration of the course is 3 years (maximum time one can take is 6 years)

Eligibility and Details for B.A from IGNOU:

• The candidates must have completed their senior secondary or any equivalent course from a recognised institute

• The individuals who are somehow not able to complete their 10+2 can also take admission in this course if they have pursued BPP that is Bachelors Preparatory Program from IGNOU.

• It is a non-formal degree which is a substitute for those students who were not able to complete their senior secondary and want to pursue Bachelor of Arts from IGNOU.

• Candidates must note that this program is not equivalent to senior secondary and is a 6-month course.

• There is no such age bar in order to pursue the course (neither maximum nor minimum)
