HELLO Aspirant,
Hope you are doing good. Here is the answer to your query.
BDS is about dentistry and BAMS is about Ayurveda. Both the streams are good on their own but as per the trend, you should opt for BAMS only when you get the good government colleges either case, BDS is a good course because with time there is a sure increment in the salary. BDS has a good scope, earning can be started just after the completion of the course after BDS you can be appointed as a dental surgeon.
Both the courses are good, especially for your interest.
Hi aspirant, Ayurveda is widely accepted in India as an alternative to western medicine. If you are interested in the traditional Indian system of medicine and are ready to deal with difficult languages like Sanskrit, then go for BAMS.
The course of BDS is career-oriented and also serves society with its application. BDS graduates can earn with ease an extensive salary by working in both government or private organizations. Some of the employment areas after graduating from BDS are mentioned: Dental Clinics.
Etc.
Thank you.
See the above three fields are well oriented and have good scope ahead. But if you want to have a good clinical exposure or if you want to be a doctor in the government medical hospitals then going for BDS will be better. See for medical purpose there are more infrastructure for the Allopaethic medicine compared to any of the other course. So if you go for BDS you will have a better scope in terms of Government positions as well as you can do a better private clinic than that of BAMS. BAMS come under the natural healers which don't face the emergency cases. But if you go for BDS you will get the charm of being an surgeon as well as you can prescribe medicine which quite similar to that of a MBBS doctor except your are specialized to Dentistry.
