there are lots of scope from this two streams. electronics and communication engineering deals with semiconductor, communication, chip design and wearless communicatiom;. how ever a ece background student can also work in it fields. now coming to barch, if you have interest in designing, architechture and civil related work you can go for it. you need to qualify nata which ever entrance  exam your are opting for b.arch. i suggest you go as your interest. dont go as for some ones suggestion.

Both of them are different courses and are equally good in their own aspects.ECE is Electronics and Communication Engineering and is the study about electronic circuits and chips.While B.Arch is the course about Architecture.
