Hello,
Previous year question paper solving is necessary for JEE exam because most of the questions are repeated and you will get most of the answer correct if you prepare well.
None of the questions are repeated in eamcet. Equal preference will be given to the Intermediate first year and second year syllabus.
Attempting previous year papers will give you an idea about the chapters and concepts which are important for the exam and are asked most frequently.
Mock test are prepared purely based on the latest exam pattern and syllabus of the respective examination. It is practice paper. Aspirants can gauge their actual potential through simulation of actual exams with practice.

Greetings!
If you are preparing for both JEE main and Eamcet then solving previous year question will mainly help you to get idea about the type of questions coming in exam and the difficulty level of questions asked. Also, that will help you to improve question solving skills but along with this if you manage some time either once a weak or twice a month to attend mock test you will be able to analyse your performance as well as manage time. It is not necessary to regularly attend mock test . But solving mock test will be better than previous year question paper with timer as in mock test new question will appear to you and you will try to work to solve them and that sharps your mind and increase efficiency.
Hope this will help you.
