  SASTRA University offers various courses at undergraduate level. The list of UG courses is consists of B. Tech, B.Com, BBA, B.Sc. and integrated courses. It also provides law courses namely B.A., LL.B (Hons.), B.Com, LL.B (Hons.) and B.B.A., LL.B (Hons.).

  Candidates wishing to apply for UG courses should have passed class 12 with minimum 50% marks from a recognized board.

  The application form is available on the official website of university. Eligible candidate is required to download the form and duly filled application form along with all the required documents send it to the prescribed address.

  The selection is done on the basis of marks obtained in last qualifying examination. For admission to B.Tech program, university accepts a valid score of
  JEE Main
  Exam.

  For admission to Law courses, applicants must qualify
  CLAT Exam

To provide equal admission opportunities to the students from different states and districts, the university has reserved 30% of the total available seats for those who have completed their qualifying examination from outside of Tamil Nadu. In order to bring all the candidates from different examining Authorities / Boards at the same scale of comparison during the selection process, a normalization process is followed by the university.

The university offers B.Tech admission under Regular/ Integrated and Lateral Entry modes in various disciplines. 10+2 (PCM/B) with 50% marks is the minimum eligibility criteria for B.Tech (Regular & Integrated) while B.Sc or Diploma in the related discipline is mandatory for B.Tech (Lateral Entry).





For B.Tech (Regular/ Integrated),

70% seats are filled on the basis of

JEE Main

while the rest 30% seats will be filled on the basis of marks in 10+2. B.Tech (Lateral Entry) admission is based on the marks in 10+2 only
