Hi dear,
Hope you are doing well!
Now let's go through your question.
After your graduation from a BSc Mathematics degree, you can pursue courses like MCA, M.Sc IT, actuarial sciences, MBA or M.Sc in Mathematics.
Statistics is definitely a lucrative career option. In a business environment, where business is becoming more and more data oriented, people who have graduated with a degree in statistics are much sought after.
From studies on the demographics of a country to study about the environment, statistics is an integral part of it. With a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, one can become a business analyst, research officer, data analyst or even an investigator.
Choosing B.Sc Mathematics over B.Sc Statistics or vice versa depends on you as both provide similar windows of opportunities. Determining the choice really depends on the your interest in a particular field of study.
In case you like subjects like probability and distribution, you can opt for Statistics, and, in case you like pure mathematics more, you can take up Mathematics.
And for physics as you know everything happens for a reason which is usually due to the laws of Physics. Generally, you can see physics concepts everywhere. Many industries and research centres hire physicist. It indicates that there are many career openings for Physics Graduates.
Thank You & All the best!
Hello Mrityunjay !
If you are totally focusing on research and teaching field then Bsc in physics and mathematics is good. But if you are also focusing in placements then Bsc in statistics is best.Because from doing Bsc in Statistics there are lot of options related to jobs. After doing Bsc you can do Msc in statistics and after that you are eligible for ISS (Indian Statistical Service) exam which is conducted by UPSC.
