Which is better b arch or civil engineering
Hey Muskan,
Both are great career opportunities,
Civil Engineering: The application of scientific principles to civil things to design, construct and maintain the artificial environments is civil engineering in which the maintenance of natural environments is also included. A civil engineer is not concerned with drawing the plan (Map or Plan is generated by architects).
Architecture: Architecture is basically an art form for planning, drawing, designing, utilizing the space and keeping good aesthetic appearance in the above said environments. Architecture does not include that much of mathematics and physics practice. Basic drawings, foundation plans and structural drawings are the responsibility of an architect.
If you have good drawing and designing skills you can go for B.Arch and if you are looking for a career in construction and development you can go for Civil Engineering.
B.Arch- Architecture primarily teaches you the art of designing houses, skyscrapers, office spaces, shopping centres, malls and hotels.
There is good scope in it. With the development in infrastructure sectors, the world will need architects for planning and designing the blueprint of the building or the projects.
Civil Engineering- The engineering course deals with planning, designing, constructing, maintaining, and operating infrastructures while protecting the public and environmental health as well as improving existing infrastructure.
There is demand in this sector construction and infrastructural development projects including town planning are on the rise in the coming days and will demand more domain specialists.
Good luck!!
