Hello Aspirant,
If you go for the bachelor’s in biochemistry, you can always apply for a doctorate program in pharmacy if you get through biochemistry. B.Sc. degree fetches strong base and knowledge of all aspects of chemistry.
However, if you go for B.Pharma, you will get biochemistry as a subject in your B.pharm. Also, it is a plethora of other subjects ranging from anatomy and physiology to pathophysiology to medicinal chemistry to pharmacognosy. It is a professional degree in the field of Pharmaceutical sciences it deals with all aspects like Pharmaceutical manufacturing, drug discovery, drug marketing, pharmacovigilance, pharmacoeconomics, pharmaceutical microbiology, Biotechnology, biochemistry, inorganic, organic, physical and medicinal chemistry, Pharmacology, pharmaceutical jurisprudence, acts related to Pharmacy mainly Pharmacy and cosmetics act, medical remedies act, Patent and intellectual property rights, formulations, Mathematics and pharmaceutical calculations also a bit of computer Science. You can do your Masters in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology after your B.Pharm.
So, I think both are good options, but B.Pharma seems to have better scope. You must look for what you are interested in, and then make an informed decision.
Hope this helps you. Feel free to ask more questions.
Have a good day!!
