Geoinformatics has been described as "the science and technology dealing with the structure and character of spatial information, its capture, its classification and qualification, its storage, processing, portrayal and dissemination.

AUTOMOBILE ENGINEERING-Automobile Engineering is a branch of engineering which deals with designing, manufacturing and operating automobiles. It is a segment of vehicle engineering which deals with motorcycles, buses, trucks, etc. It includes mechanical, electrical, electronic, software and safety elements.

In terms of placement both of the branches will give a package of Rs. 3-6lpa in beginning.

Geoinformatics is a multidisciplinary branch. It isnt the same as every typical branches of engineering. If you have keen interest in geography and ready to mix geography and informative product then do go for this course while automotive is also good if you have interest in designing and managing automobiles.
