Madras Medical College has a higher cut off, but if you can make it through, it will be the better option. It has been ranked higher and also has lower fees .It is ranked 15th among the top Medical colleges of India for the year 2018, whereas the Bangalore Medical College is ranked 17th. Backdraws of the Madras medical college are that it doesn't have hostels and cafeteria unlike the Bangalore medical college.

Both are top government medical colleges in their respective states. Bangalore medical college is also under the process of conversion into AIIMS since 2007. If you belong to Karnataka domicile, you can get Bangalore Medical college easily with decent marks. If you have the chance of getting both the colleges, you can choose Bangalore Medical College.
