I'm a MITian and now in Bhubaneswar for my work. I live near KIIT so I researched about KIIT a bit.

After going through all the records, MIT and KIIT moreover are equivalent. Not much a difference in academics and placements.

After living in Pune and Bhubaneswar I realised that Pune is way better market for opportunities. Pune is established for IT. Bhubaneswar is emerging market but still it will take a time to reach at that level.

MIT Pune offers you a various opportunities in academics as well as in extra-curricular. If you want to groom yourself in every aspect then MIT can offer you beyond your expectation. MIT is in Pune so need to explain further advantages of living in Pune. And after hanging around both MIT and KIIT, hands down to crowd of MIT. MIT crowd is the best in the city.

So if you are interested in just academics then it doesn't make any difference but if you want to excel in everything then MIT is going to offer you a lot.

. Quality of education depends upon following factors-

1.Facilities-Mit Pune provides world class education facilities.The laboratories are well maintained and highly advanced.

2.Faculty-Many of them are very experienced and have maximum knowledge in their subject.Many of them are authors of well known books.

3.crowd-MIT has active crowd.CSE,IT,mech,civil crowd is the best.

4.Campus-MIT has urban campus.Kothrud is one of the fastest growing suburb of asia.you will miss pune and kothrud when you will go home.

5.Placement-Placement record is good.Infosys,accenture visit mit every year.

6.extra curricular activities-MIT hosts MIT summit national level sports competition.Apart from that technical events are best.Events like texephyr are worth attending.
