As you ask which is better between VTU or autonomous so most of the autonomous college are part of the VTU most of the colleges are follow syllabus of VTU many colleges conduct their own exam but the award received by VTU very hard to sev which is better among them both of these colleges are pretty similar you can go any of them..

But if you want exposure and opportunities then go to autonomous..
