VIT has different categories for admission, with Merit and Availability of Seats. If Admitted through Category 1 or 2, VIT is a much cheaper University than SRM with an excellent Return of Investment, as far as Courses like Engineering are concerned. Secondly, VIT has much better campus culture, faculty, infrastructure and an excellent employer outlook than SRM, being one of the NIRF Top 25 Engineering Institutions.
