A dual program (also called a dual degree) allows you to combine two UQ degrees and study them at the same time. Studying a dual program may expand your career options, and may allow you to complete two degrees in a much shorter time than if you completed the degrees one after the other.
Integrated course generally takes 5 yeas where you will be able to combine b.tch and m.tch
while normal B.Tech course will take 4 years and then if you want to persue m.tech then it will take 2 years. So in total it will take 6 years.
I will say Dual degree.
Higher Education: You have one more year totally dedicated to research/thesis project which means you have a better chance to have a publication or two or to have a awesome working system to write in your resume. In addition, you get extra time to prepare well for GRE and other exams.
Job: Again, you have one more year. In your ninth semester, you will have one course or may be two and a lot of free time to prepare for job interviews and test whereas in BTech, you have to be active in 4-5 courses that you have in your seventh semester and also prepare for interviews.
So, being in dual degree gets you more time to prepare for interviews as well as higher education.
Dear G Abinandhana
Greeting,
It is very much depends on how much you devote on that course. M.tech is specifically a specialization in a specific subject while b.tech is a pioneer or it is a very basic knowledge about that particular stream. Both the things are useful it's just how you interpret it or how you use it for your success.
Hope you will be satisfied.
Thank you
