which law is best after commerce stream
Hello,
If you have done 10+2 with commerce stream, and if you have interest towards further exploring management, corporate sector further then you can go for integrated BCom-LLB or BBA-LLB, these integrated courses are combination of law with respective subjects for instance commerce+law in BCom-LLB, and business management+law in case of BBA-LLB, apart from having regular job opportunities in government sectors for any law graduates you also hold good chances for exploring the private sector but only if you possess inclination towards business, management, commerce respectively , other than this more or less the opportunities are same for any law graduate, as in terms of appearing for various government prestigious exams, pursuing higher education etc.
Hey there!
Law can be done from any stream, but as you are a student of commerce then you will have advantage over other streams' students if you are going for BA LLB or BCOM LLB.
Different Law courrses available in India are:
- Bachelor's of laws (LLB) : 3 years - most common degree
- Integrated undergraduated degrees : BALLB, BSC LLB, BCOM LLB, BBA LLB : generally are covered in 5 years. Benefit of pursuing integrated degrees is that you will get two degrees in less time, example if you do BCOM LLB then you will have a degree of Bcom and LLB both. You will have opportunity to choose you career in any of the two degrees further.
- Master of Laws (LLM): 1/2 years : can only be pursued after completing undergraduation.
- PhD, or integrated master degrees : these are also done after completing undrgraduation.
