Well, both the options are in high demand especially opting for computer science engineering in an IIT. But if you don't want to persue a dual degree program for five years, you may definitely choose the second option, which is also my opinion. B.tech Engineering has comparatively more scope and job opportunities in the near future as compared to dual degree course.

Hey, as per the normal trends, people have noticed that candidates with dual degrees get paid more. And that too from iits. Then thats a very huge plus point.
During placements, you will have a upper hand over the bachelor of technology students.
