Which type of ideal gas will have the largest value for Cp - Cv?
Hey,
The Cp - Cv values are same for all ideal gas and their is no largest value for ideal gases.
I hope this helps.
All the best!
Hi Tanya,
It's very easy, Cp - Cv will be same for all ideal gases.
This is because for an ideal gas according to Mayer's relation, Cp - Cv = R, where R is the universal gas constant which is equal to 8.3145 J/mol.
