why boran has high melting point and boiling point
Hi
Boron has high melting and boiling point because of the following reasons :-
- Boron has very small atomic size
- Boron forms very strong covalent bonds with neighbouring atoms.
- Boron atoms are tightly packed in its solid state and due to this a large amount of heat is required to break the bonds between atoms and thus it has high melting and boiling point
Thank you
