Hello,

People gets confused with percentage and percentile, they both are different but related. If a person is score 720/720 he will have 100% but percentile is percentage of other students who fall below your score.

So when a person has 20 percentile it means 20% of total students are below your score. So NEET toppers even though scoring full marks while calculating percentile remaining students are around 99.*** percentage of total students below them.

So their percentile comes to be 99.*** because it will never happen  than a person is ahead of 100% of students as he is included in them.
