will i be able to get back the fee i've paid to the college during my admission(tnea-dote) now that i don't want to join that college?

Tes, you will be able to refund the fee paid for the college if you do not want to join there after some time. You will have to initiate it within a stipulated period of time for that. It will take some time depending on the college. For some, it may take even 3 months for a refund. But to make sure your refunding possibilities and procedure I suggest you to mail the administration of the college as soon as possible.

There are certain rules and regulations regarding the question you have asked.They are-:
1)If a student has withdrawn the admission before the starting of the course,then an amount of not more than Rs 1000 after deducting the processing fee will be refunded
2) If a candidate has withdrawn the admission after joining thr course and if the vacant seat is filled in by another candidate,then an amount of not more than Rs 1000 after deducting the processing fee, hostel rent and monthly charges shall be refunded.
3)If the vacant seat is not filled up then the security deposit will be refunded along with the original documents.
4)The fee return and return of certificates should be completed by 7 days
